When collecting quotes always make sure you get a like for like quote, for example, do road wheels get removed? We have had so many cars come to our garage that have had servicing elsewhere and we have had great difficulty removing the wheels! Can you imagine having a puncture on a busy road and not being able to remove the road wheel? We are aware of the increasing cost of owning and maintaining a vehicle today so if your financial situation is tight at least consider an oil and oil filter change, this is much better than nothing at all. We would always choose to use genuine parts but we appreciate not everyone has a choice. So give us a call and we are always happy to advise.

Changing your car’s oil at regular intervals is vital to keeping the engine running properly. The purpose of engine oil is to keep the internal parts or your car’s engine lubricated and cool without oil it would burn up and seize! We can also update DSR (Digital Service Records) for Landrover, VW Audi, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Mini.

There are generally THREE types of service we offer:

Oil & Filter Change

The Oil & Filter is replaced along with the following checks:

1. Check for general oil leaks
2. Check operation of exterior lights
3. Check / top up power steering reservoir (if applicable)
4. Check brake fluid level and advise
5. Check windscreen washer operations & top up if required
6. Check timing belt replacement interval

Annual Service

This service is designed for high mileage vehicles or for when your manufacturer recommends regular checks. The Annual Service includes replacement of the oil, oil filter, pollen filter and a number of checks of the main moving parts:

1. All of the lights are checked for operation.
2. The road wheels are removed to carry out a thorough inspection of the braking system.
3. The steering and suspension is checked for wear and condition.
4. The wheel bearings are checked for wear.
5. The exhaust system is inspected.
6. Under bonnet fluid levels are checked and topped up as required.
7. The tyre condition is checked and all pressures adjusted as required.
8. The vehicle will also be road tested

Full Service

Our Full Service is a very comprehensive service with 67 checks. It includes the replacement of engine oil, oil filter and air filter and an extensive range of checks that exceed most manufacturers’ service schedules:

1. It checks the main moving parts that may need attention.
2. All of the lights are checked for operation.
3. The road wheels are removed to carry out a thorough inspection of the braking system.
4. The brakes are also adjusted if required
5. The tyre condition is checked and all pressures adjusted as required
6. The wheels are also checked for correct balance.
7. The steering and suspension is checked for wear and condition.
8. The wheel bearings are checked for wear.
9. The exhaust system is inspected.
10. The underside of the vehicle is checked.
11. The Oil & Filter is replaced.
12. The Air Filter is replaced.
13. The Pollen filter is replaced
14. All under bonnet levels are checked and topped up as required.
